The Digital Art Department.

Painting Practice was established in 2005 by Joel Collins and Dan May, who at the time wanted to bridge the gap between the traditional world of production and the rapidly developing digital world of post-production. In more recent years we have joined forces with an extremely talented artist Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn who has become our third partner and Rafael Martin Coronel, our gifted lead concept artist.

Painting Practice is the kind of place that gives directors and producers the freedom to develop their ideas and extend creative possibilities, whether it is through previs, concept design, set design, or matte painting, Painting Practice is more than capable of dealing with any project, both from a creative standpoint and also in a purely technical capacity.

Our experience and understanding of film, TV, and commercial production means that we can rise to any challenge with the belief that anything is possible.

If you are ready to bring your ideas to life then look no further. However big or small your project, Painting Practice aims to make every project reach it’s full creative potential, both on time and on budget.
