The team at Painting Practice recently had the pleasure to be involved from start to finish in the making of the new adverts for the UK National Lottery directed by Jeff Low through Biscuit Filmworks. Production Design was lead by Joel Collins and his team, and Art Direction by Daniel May.

This new campaign is fronted by reviled TV personalities Piers Morgan and Katie Price. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen follows in a third advert. These are shot as behind-the-scenes documentaries following Morgan, Price and Llewelyn-Bowen – who play caricature versions of themselves – as they pursue absurd vanity projects. Morgan seeks to establish his legacy with a pier, dedicated to himself, in Camber Sands on the South Coast. Price’s dream consists of a 24-hour TV channel in which she is the star of every show. And Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen envisions a stonehenge that reflects the vibrancy and juiciness of Britain, rather than the current eyesore that’s been torturing the british landscape for centuries.
