I Hate Suzie

Erica and our motion team worked closely with director Dawn Shadforth and production designer Sarah Jenneson to bring a wild and electric large format screen element to the set for talent show DANCE CRAZEE.

Dawn wanted a mash up of squid games, fruit machines, tokyo Shibuya and “All that Jazz” that felt slick and techno. Not only did these designs need to convey the emotional journey of Suzie and the energy of each dance and each vote, we had to carefully plan many stages of each animation to be programmed live on set.
